Norbert Stovall

Norbert Stovall is a forty year veteran of the Music Business. A visionary working in most every aspect of the business, including Recording, Producing, Manufacturing, Distribution, Publishing, Touring, Management and Video Production. He has 4 RIAA Certified Gold Records and has owned and operated businesses with over 100 Employees. He is the recipient of many awards as a record producer and has a unique ability and understanding of the entertainment industry.

Norbert is a member of the Recording Academy and a voting member of the Grammy’s, a member of CMA, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, NAMM, CES, MIDEM and more. He created, owned, operated and was CEO of Stage 4 Recording, Music Square Productions, Tennessee Production Center, Inc., a full service, state-of-the-art Audio/Video and Manufacturing facility with 104 employees, Chartbuster Karaoke, a worldwide company, Big Mama’s Recording Studios with 6 Studios and 2 Mastering labs, a Karaoke Themed Restaurant which became world renowned for over eleven years, a Traveling Karaoke Interactive Tractor Trailer and three Publishing Companies.


He has produced forty-three Major Artists, recorded over 17,000 songs and over 5000 Custom Recording Sessions were recorded at Big Mama’s. Norbert’s greatest strengths are his creativity, vision, drive and leadership. He thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand the company’s reach.  His many long-lasting relationships and connections in the Gospel Music Industry are a key component in Big Mama's continued success.

  • 1970 - 1976 - Founded, Built and Operated Stage 4 Recording Studio - Charleston, West Virginia
  • 1978  - Founded and Built Music Square Productions – Demos and projects for Dobie Gray, Louise Mandrell, Troy Seals, Deborah Allen, Janie Fricke and more. Label Demos for MCA Records, ABC Records, United Artists Records, Tree Publishing, Warner Brothers and more.
  • 1976-78 - Recorded the very first Karaoke Track in the United States. Demos for Record Labels and Publishers, Custom Sessions
  • 1979 - Built Big Mama’s Recording Studio in Knoxville, Tennessee - Knoxville's first 24-track studio
  • 1982 - Audio Engineer / Music Director - 450 Episodes of Nashville Network's I-40 Paradise - live recording of Country Music Artists including: Roy Rogers, Tom T. Hall, Reba McEntire, Jerry Clower, Jeanie C. Riley, Jerry Lee Lewis and many more.
  • 1982 - recorded theme song for 1982 World's Fair, recorded soundtrack for Johnny Cash / June Carter Cash World's Fair TV Special; recorded "Eye of the Tiger" Looping with David Keith

  • 1989 - Norbert and his wife Debi founded by and started Chartbuster Karaoke.  Recorded over 12,

  • 1997 - Built the "Chartbuster Karaoke Experience" a 45’ Touring Tractor Trailer with indoor Recording Studio and outside stage.  The "Experience" was a totally interactive entertainment experience suitable for all ages featuring wall-to-wall memorabilia and an electric atmosphere.  The Chartbuster Experience was booked at Venues and Events like: Country Stampede, Country Thunder, Bristol Motor Speedway, Fan Fair Nashville, BoomsDay, Make-A-Wish Foundation, WSM Radio Nashville, Krogers, University of Tennessee Pep Rallies, numerous WIVK Radio events, Capital Records, University of Tennessee Destination Imagination (for over 10 years), St. Jude, Dr. Pepper Tour, Wal-Mart, Fruit Of The Loom Tour, Pemmican Beef Jerky, George Strait Tour, Rascal Flatts Tour and many more.  Sponsors included: Make-A-Wish Foundation, WIVK Radio,University of Tennessee, Pemmican Beef Jerky, Dr. Pepper, Wal-Mart, and Roland

  • 2002 - 2010 - WIVK “Studio 107” Video/Radio Series with Country Music Artists broadcast "live" on the Radio and with a studio audience.  Studio 107 featured: Pam Tillis, Mickey Gilley, Trick Pony, Emerson Drive, Dierks Bentley, Rodney Atkins, Craig Morgan, Mark Chesnutt, Aaron Tippin and Jamie O’Neal.   WIVK also held their annual “Sing Like The King” Contest where we hosted over 39 Elvis Contestants each year, A Dixie Chick Contest with men competing as the best dressed Dixie Chick, and many more Special Events were produced and broadcast from the Karaoke Cafe Venue.
  • 2009 - Oprah Winfrey show comes to the Café for her Karaoke Contest. The Café was featured in her National advertising and TV Spots. All songs in her contest were provided exclusively by Chartbuster Karaoke.
  • 2010 - Rascal Flatts Tour and National Singer Contest with Facebook Voting choosing the Grand Prize Winner.
  • 2011 - Present: Created the concept and began production on the Web-TV Series "Gospel In-Session HD".  The series showcases Independent Gospel Artists and Groups and is featured on gospelinsession.com and other web-based distribution platforms.  To-date the show has produced over 300 videos of over 58 artists.  The show is slated to be the cornerstone of the new MyGMTV.com Gospel Music Television Network, debuting 1st Quarter of 2014.
  • 2013 - Produced and launched our Mobile Marketing Platform offering texting, mobile site / mobile app and a mobile loyalty rewards program for businesses, musicians and labels.
  • 2013 - Produced and launched several custom Pinboard apps including ShowcaseMyMusic.me and ShareMyGospelMusic.com.
  • 2013 - Developed and launched our Digital Distribution Model offering digital download sales, Mobile Music Delivery via Text and other digital media solutions for Indies and Gospel Groups.

Allen Wright

As Focus Media Concepts, Inc.’s president and Director of Business Development, Allen has credits that include corporate videos, music videos, television programming, "live" performance videos, infomercials and television commercials. He also has over 20 years experience in Multimedia Project Management, Internet Web Site Development and IT Management.

Allen has been in the entertainment and media production business for over 30 years, first as a performing musician, studio player, engineer and producer and eventually as a visual media producer and web developer. He’s won a Gold Addy, Special Judges Award, 2 silver and 1 Bronze Omni awards for web site development.

Past corporate work includes clients like: NOVA Information Systems (a division of US Bank), Dollywood, Joint Services Open House Air Show, Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation, Radio Shack, JFG Coffee Co., England – Corsair Furniture, Principal Financial Group, Oracle Systems, Inc., Trade ARBED (Luxemborg), Nathan’s Hot Dogs, DuPont, ABC News (NYC), EMC-TV (Tokyo, Japan) – Interview with Trisha Yearwood, and QVC / LeSportsac to name a few.

He also has extensive experience in Multimedia Project Management, Internet Web Site Development and IT Management. FMC currently manages and hosts over 30 web site clients. Allen handles all web site development for Big Mama affiliated sites.

Allen brings vast experience in the field of producing live events, concerts, and studio broadcasts. Entertainment work includes the 2007 - 2009 NCAA Final Four Entertainment Stage, Cingular / Live Nation featuring Ludacris, 3 Doors Down and Wide Open Entertainment (Jeff Gordon 24 x 24 DVD) to name a few.

In 2015, Allen was named Video Director for the Paula Deen "Live" Tour, working with Colonel Tom Touring.

In addition to handling operations for various production companies over the years, Allen has handled operations and business development for post-production houses and in-house editing facilities for a variety of companies. He has technical experience covering all aspects of production and post-production. He has years of experience as a producer, director, camera operator, editor, authoring specialist, compressionist and project manager.

He is widowed and father to Patrick, age 18. He graduated from John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights (Chicago), Illinois and attended the University of Tennessee prior to starting his career at Big Mama's.  His return to the Big Mama brings his career full-circle.
